IPELS 2007: Audiovisual Guidelines
We are committed to making IPELS 2007 a clean, green and environmentally friendly electronic workshop as far as possible. Therefore the following protocols have been implemented:
Program & Abstract Booklet
A book of paper abstracts will NOT be produced for IPELS 2007 registrants but a sheet with the sessions, chairs, IT contacts, authors and titles with be distributed upon arrival. Abstracts are now available on the IPELS 2007 web page and a PDF version of the abstract booklet will also be available for download. If you must have paper copies of the abstracts, please print them before you leave home. To view the IPELS 2007 abstracts online visit the Abstracts

A large flat screen will also be situated in front of the lecture hall with the sessions's talks, speakers and abstracts. This will also show breaking news and other items of interest.
Presentation Guidelines
The presentation room will contain one LCD projector and screen and a 4-way-computer to projector switch. All presenters must see the session IT delegate at least 5 minutes before their session begins. Speakers may present directly from their own laptop and must plug in their laptop before the session begins. Those without laptops can come with a CD or Flash Drive containing their talk, preferably as a PDF. If you have embedded audiovisual (animations, movies, etc) and want to present as a PowerPoint presentation this can be accommodated. A Windows & Mac based machine will be available but you will need to discuss this with one of the SP3 people at the workshop well before your session.
Poster Guidelines
All posters must be A0 portrait (118.9 cm high X 84.1 cm wide). Posters made of individual A4 sheets joined together are not permitted.
Internet Access
Free wireless internet access will be available for IPELS 2007 registrants in the workshop venue and the lobby of the hotel. Connection details will be made available upon arrival. Wireless internet access will not be available in the hotel rooms. If you choose to connect to the internet in your room via the telephone line it will be at your own expense.
