The 9th International Workshop on the Interrelationship between Plasma Experiments in Laboratory and Space (IPELS 2007) is being held at the Novotel Palm Cove Resort near Cairns in tropical north Queensland, Australia from 5th - 10th
August 2007. The workshop is being hosted by Professor Rod Boswell and the Space Plasma Power & Propulsion Group from the Australian National University.

The IPELS 2007 Abstract Booklet is now available as a PDF document. To download the Abstract Booklet for IPELS 2007 visit the Abstracts page. A copy of the Abstract Booklet will NOT be provided for each workshop registrant, so if you must have paper copies of the abstracts please print your own copy before leaving home. The abstracts which have been accepted for oral or poster presentations are also available online. The abstracts can be searched and listed alphabetically by title or first author's surname. IPELS 2007 LOGO
The IPELS 2007 logo is composed of a DMSP satellite image of the Aurora over the the South Pole taken on 21 July 1993 around 0500 UT. It has been morphed by Dr Tim Wetherall into the shape of a wave which is the integrating theme of this workshop.
