Postgraduate scholarships with the H-1 National Plasma Fusion Research Facility

   Theoretical work and work undertaken jointly with other Universities is eligible in a pro-rata basis.

Eligibility:  Applicants must:

    * Be a current recipient of an APA (Australian Postgraduate Award) or

    * Have applied for an APA (Scholarship will be contingent on acceptance of an APA)

    * Be enrolled/enrolling in a course of full time PhD study at the Australian National University

Stipend:  Valued at $7,000 p.a. for up to three years and is intended to be a Top up to the APA

A completion bonus of $1,000 will be provided if the thesis is submitted within three years and six months of PhD commencement.

Number of Awards: up to 4 available

1.         The completed application will consist of:

*           A letter of application

*           Provision of full personal contact details

*           Provision of the names of two referees

*           current recipients of an APA: must include a certified copy of their academic transcript

*           for those who have applied for an APA in the current round: must include a copy of their APA application
